Application: claude-backup (home page)
claude-backup is a personal tool that uploads encrypted backup archives from the developer's own computer to the developer's own Google Drive.
The app requests the Google Drive scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file.
With this scope the app can see, create, modify and delete only the files and folders that the
app itself created. It cannot read any other file in the Google account.
The app uploads backup archives to a folder it creates in Google Drive, verifies that the uploaded copies match the originals, and deletes expired backup copies from that folder. The archives are encrypted on the user's computer before they are uploaded. The data is used for no other purpose.
The app does not collect, store or transmit Google user data to any server operated by the developer or by any third party. The only places the data goes are the user's own computer and the user's own Google Drive. The app does not sell or share user data, and no humans read it. The OAuth authorization token is stored only in a file on the user's own computer.
claude-backup's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. The backup files can be deleted at any time from the Google Drive web interface.
